Breast Cancer Awareness at PVB and the Mayor

Today Platte Valley Bank Employees of Platte City welcomed Mayor, Frank D. Offutt, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Employees wore pink today as a symbol of hope in finding a cure for the disease which affects 1 in 8 women in the United States. They joined the mayor in a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, a nationally recognized nonprofit begun in 1991, to honor our customers and employees who are survivors. The National Breast Cancer Foundation's mission: . . . to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need.
