Sopaipilla Cake

Mmmmmm... Sopaipilla Cake

(Recipe from pg. 140 of our cookbook)

2 cans original crescent rolls
2 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. cinnamon

Spray 9x13 inch pan with Pam. Press 1 can of crescent rolls into pan (don't separate them). Mix cream cheese, 1 c. sugar, and vanilla well and spread over the dough. Put other can of crescent rolls over mixture. Melt butter, add remaining sugar and cinnamon and pour over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
