Prime 50 Tours Kansas City's Winter Gardens

On March 10th, 2015, the Prime 50 Club toured Kansas City's Winter Gardens. The group toured Bird’s Botanicals, a cave where KC’s premier wholesale florist sells flowers at huge discounts. They ventured through the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art where they received a guided tour and had lunch at Café Sebastienne in a “culinary conservatory.” A stop at the Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden revealed another ornate collection of winter plants and flowers surrounding beautiful bronze sculptures.  Their final stop was with a wholesale florist in North Kansas City where they shopped for fresh flowers, plants, and décor that normally only florists can purchase.
