On Thursday, March 12
th, our Prime 50 Club members were all Irish for the day. They spent the day touring some of Kansas City’s Irish historical landmarks. Kansas City, Missouri is home to the second largest Irish community in America.
They first visited Old St. Patrick’s Church and learned about the immigrant history of the church. For lunch, they savored a real Irish meal, from a real Irish chef, at the Ambassador Hotel. Then, their luck continued with a stop at Browne’s Irish Marketplace, the oldest Irish establishment in North America and family-owned since 1887. The final stop was at the Kansas City Irish Center in Union Station for entertainment from Bridgid Driscoll’s Irish Dancers.
