2015 Easter Eggstravaganza in Platte City

On Saturday, March 28^th, Platte Valley Bank, the YMCA’s Platte County Community Center North, and Mosaic Life Care held their annual Easter Eggstravaganza in Platte City, MO. Around 300 children attended the event with their family and friends. The Easter Bunny and Platte Valley Bank’s Dollar Bill were there as well.

The race started promptly at 10:00am and included 6,000 eggs. Thirty of those eggs contained slips of paper for bigger prizes at the sponsor tables. Children who arrived early and stayed late, enjoyed orange juice and donut holes from Bresette's Price Chopper and danced to the DJ MIC King. Families could also tour a fire engine from Central Platte Fire District, an ambulance from Northland Regional Ambulance District, and police cruisers from Platte City Police Department.
