Pirate’s ROCK - Barry Ice Cream

Each month, Platte Valley Bank takes ice cream to a special group of children at  to Barry School in Kansas City. The students that receive ice cream are nominated by the teachers for exhibiting that month’s character traits. The monthly character traits are: Self Confidence, Pride, Responsibility, Citizenship, Compassion, Individuality, Self-Control. Integrity, Perseverance, Respect, Cooperation, and Honesty. The event is part of the Platte County School District’s Pirates R.O.C.K. program.

Pirates R.O.C.K. (Raising Outstanding Character Kids) is a program designed to surround families with examples of strong character traits.
