EverFi Certification for Park Hill South Students

On Thursday and Friday last week, Debbie Hopkins, Branch Manager at our Parkville location visited Park Hill South High School to give a presentation on financial responsibility and to award EverFi completion certificates to several students taking personal finance classes.

EverFi is a financial literacy software that Platte Valley Bank sponsors at seven local high schools. Those schools include Platte County High School, Park Hill High School, Park Hill South High School, North Platte High School, Plattsburg High School, Smithville High School, and Liberty High School.

The software is supplementary course material that helps educate high school students on topics like savings, banking, payment types, credit score, financing higher education, renting vs. owning, taxes and insurance, consumer fraud, and investing.

We were there to present certificates and Platte Valley Bank ear buds to students who completed all financial literacy modules with a 70-80% or better.
