Easter Eggstravaganza Returns to Platte City

Last Saturday, Platte Valley Bank, along with the YMCA and Heartland Health Clinic, put on the annual Easter Eggstravaganza in Platte City.  It was a beautiful day for an Easter egg hunt!

Before the Easter egg hunt started, the Easter Bunny and our Dollar Bill walked around visiting with everyone. The YMCA led Zumba in the parking lot. The Platte County Police, Fire, and Ambulance Departments also came so children and parents could tour their vehicles and talk about their careers in public safety.

The field between the Heartland Health Clinic and the YMCA was sectioned off by age. At 10:00am, the emergency vehicles ran their sirens and the race began. Hundreds of children ran into the field collecting as many eggs as possible.
