Dollar Bill Visits Smithville Montessori

On August 13th, Platte Valley Bank visited Smithville Montessori in Smithville, MO, to teach the children about banking. Liz from the Smithville branch gathered the children in a circle and read them a book about how Dollar Bill learns to save at Platte Valley Bank. They learned about banks, accounts, saving, interest, and why it is important to have savings goals. The children then told us about the chores they do to earn money and what they were saving money to buy.

When the presentation ended, Dollar Bill visited the children and everyone took turns giving him hugs. Thank you to Smithville Montessori for letting us visit.
