Banana Bread

Fall is the perfect season for baking! Here is a great recipe for Banana Bread that replaces sugar with honey and oil with applesauce! Here’s what you need:

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar free applesauce
3/4 cup honey
2 eggs, beaten
3 mashed overripe bananas

Directions: Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9 x 5 loaf pan. Combine dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt. Combine applesauce, honey, eggs, and mashed bananas in a separate bowl. Stir until well blended. Stir wet mixture into the flour mix. Bake 45-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the bread comes out clean. Enjoy!
