Second Annual Smithville Backyard BBQ Bash

The Smithville Chamber of Commerce held its 2^nd annual “Smithville’s Backyard BBQ Bash," on Saturday, September 19th. Platte Valley Bank was a Platinum Sponsor for the event which is one of the Chamber’s main fund raising events of the year.  There were 21 BBQ teams, a washers tournament,  food trucks, merchandise vendors, fun kids area that includes inflatables and kids activities throughout the day, and much more.

PVB sponsored Rick’s Racks of Smithville which included team members Damon Boydston and Braden Turner, along with many friends and family.  Over 500 people attended the event throughout the day and it was a great success for the chamber.
