Recipe: Soft Sugar Cookies

{Soft Sugar Cookies}



 

• Ingredients •
Sift together: 3 1/4 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt
Pour into large mixing bowl: 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla.
• Instructions •
Cream together, then add 1/2 cup sour cream and sifted dry ingredients. Roll out 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutter. Bake in 375 degrees oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
Frosting: 1/3 c. butter, softened, 3 c. powdered sugar
Stir until smooth: 3 tbsp. milk, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
