PVB Lights Up with Energy Efficiency

This week, Platte Valley Bank will replace all of its overhead florescent lights with energy efficient LED lights.

The new LED lights will provide a better experience for our customers and employees. Not only are LEDS more energy efficient, they are cheaper and safer than fluorescent bulbs. LEDs are less likely to burn out, are not affected by temperature or humidity, do not emit ultraviolent rays, and do not buzz. They also cause less glare when reading. According to KCPL, “Energy-efficient light bulbs, like CFLs and LEDs, use about 75% less energy than incandescent light bulbs.”
