On Tuesday, December 9
th, a group from Prime 50 visited several attractions in Independence, MO. Their first stop was at the Puppetry Arts Institute in Independence, Missouri, where they heard the story and learned the legacy of Hazelle Rollins Puppet Factory. While there, they created actual hand or sleeve puppets. Next, they toured the Bingham-Waggoner Estate to see their a new holiday theme and enjoyed an “all wrapped up” scrumptious lunch, unique shopping, Christmas carols in the parlor, and in the Tea Room, a very special handmade and decorated cookie served with spiced tea. The trip concluded with a visit to Judge Truman’s Courthouse on the Square.
