Platte Valley Bank sponsors YMCA Challenge Your Fashion

On Saturday, March 25th, Platte Valley Bank sponsored and attended the YMCA Challenge Your Fashion Event. We gathered at the Sheraton Crown Center for an evening of fashion and fun, benefiting the YMCA of Greater Kansas City's Challenger Program for kids with special needs. The evening started with a silent auction featuring 100s of items, including Royals baseball memorabilia. Upon arriving at our seats, upfront donations reached over $8,000. Then the fun fashion show started. Emcees were Jadiann Thompson, 41 Action News Anchor, and Steven St. John, host of Sports Radio 810’s “The Border Patrol announced the modeled fashions. Models included YMCA Challenger athletes, Chiefs offensive lineman Eric Kush, Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson, current and former Chiefs players, and Chiefs cheerleaders. Other models included USA World Team Gold Medal Gymnast Maddie Desch, and Shea Groom and Katelyn Rowland from professional women’s soccer team FC Kansas City.

We had a great time and enjoyed helping raise money for the YMCA of Greater Kansas City's Challenger Program!
