Today is a special day at Platte Valley Bank. We celebrate the 110th year of service. A Certificate of Incorporation was filed on August 6, 1906 to establish a Bank of Deposit and Discount. The amount of the capital stock of said corporation was $10,000.00.
The bank was first located in Waldron, Missouri as "Waldron State Bank."
In 1933, the charter was moved to Dearborn, Missouri as First State Bank of Dearborn. Our main location was later moved to Platte City in 1981 and is now "Platte Valley Bank of Missouri." As our assets and locations have grown, we still strive to provide hometown service as it was 110 years ago. We appreciate the loyalty and support of our customers throughout the years.
