Platte Valley Bank Celebrates Certified EverFi Students

For the past three years, Platte Valley Bank has offered a financial literacy program to several local high schools. The software program is called EverFi Financial Literacy and helps high school students learn life-long skills about savings and checking accounts, investments, college financial aid, and much more.

At the end of each semester, Platte Valley Bank provides gifts to those students that complete the program and become certified. One of those high schools is Park Hill South High School in Parkville, MO. Each semester, in addition to small gifts and certificates, their teacher L. Moeller requests that we speak to her classes about why it is important to remember the lessons learned.
