Platte Valley Bank 2013 STAR Scholarship Winners



The Platte Valley Bank STAR Scholarship Foundation awards a $500.00 scholarship every year to one graduating senior from each community where Platte Valley Bank has a banking location.

The STAR Scholarship was created in 2004 through Platte Valley Bank’s Outreach Committee.  It is funded by the generous donations by the employees through “Scholarship Jeans Days.”  Once a month, with a donation towards the scholarship fund, employees are allowed to wear jeans to work.

Doug Gutshall, Regional President/Co-CEO comments,“It is our honor to be able to award deserving seniors with these scholarships.”
