th, Platte Valley Bank provided ice cream to a special group of kids. Thirty-two Barry students, nominated by their teachers for exhibiting
compassion, were treated to a tasty ice cream bar. The event is part of the Platte County School District’s Pirates R.O.C.K. program.
Pirates R.O.C.K. (Raising Outstanding Character Kids) is a program designed to surround families with examples of strong character traits. Each month, our community focuses on a specific trait and students are recognized for exhibiting them.
