Personal Finance Presentation to Smithville HS Students

Last week, a few Platte Valley Bank employees visited the Personal Finance Class at Smithville High School.
We provided training material and presentations on the following topics: checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, debit cards versus credit cards, credit and credit worthiness, identity fraud, identity protection, creating a budget, your needs vs wants, career opportunities, and career qualifications. We spoke to over 50 high school students in the Personal Finance classes. The kids enjoyed the earbuds and stylus pens we gave them as a gift.
