Pathfinder's Bank Day Presentation

On October 6th, Platte Valley Bank visited several Kindergarten classes at Pathfinder Elementary in Kansas City, MO, to talk about the importance of saving money.

Local magician, Jim Lysaght used illusions to show the Kindergarten classes how banking can be fun. The children learned about banking terms like accounts and interest. They learned what they need to do to save money and why it is safer to keep your money in a bank instead of under your bed. After the magic show, we handed out activity books to the teachers while Dollar Bill and his friend Hope arrived to give hugs and high fives. We then invited all the children to participate in Bank Days and start saving for their future.
