Parkville's Fourth of July Parade

Bank employees and several family members of the Parkville branch of Platte Valley Bank participated in the annual Parkville Fourth of July parade. The parade route started at 10:00 am at the Sonic Drive-In on the corner of Highway 9 & 63rd Street and went through downtown Parkville,  a distance of approximately one mile. Parade watchers lined the entire route. Themed as "United We Stand", there were 43 entries in this year's parade. Once parade participants reached downtown Parkville they were introduced and a 30 second commercial is read.  The announcers were former Chief's player Ted McKnight and local businessman Tom Hustler.
