Parent Camp at Lillian Schuemacher in Liberty

This year, Platte Valley Bank is Lillian Schumacher’s Partner in Education. On Saturday, September 19th, Platte Valley Bank  presented financial literacy information at the Lillian Schumacher’s Parent Camp.  The camp was an opportunity for parents to learn how to better prepare their students for school. Platte Valley Bank spoke to parents about how they can help their children financially prepare for the future. We discussed setting goals, how kids can make money, what kids can do with their money, different bank accounts, setting up accounts, identity theft, the new myHomework app, and Bank Days. We enjoyed the opportunity to speak to parents as it is our goal to help prepare children for a better financial future.
