Northland Hunger Childhood Initiative Awareness Meeting

Yesterday, we were happy to host an awareness meeting for the Northland Childhood Hunger Initiative. Representatives from Platte County and North Platte Schools were present to explain the need for this program in the schools. Through the program, needy schoolchildren receive nutritious child-friendly food to take home with them each weekend. Roughly $60,000 is needed to meet the annual needs of the children in Platte County, North Platte, and West Platte schools.
