On Tuesday, August 5th, Platte Valley Bank participated in National Night Out in Platte City.
National Night Out is an annual event sponsored by the Platte City Police Department. Detective Al DeValkenaere said, “This is an opportunity for us to provide information to the public.” The evening included a cookout, face painting, child ID kits, live music, and much more. Special guests included clowns, Kansas City Chief’s mascot KC Wolf, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The cookout, provided by Platte Valley Bank and Price Chopper, served 250 hamburgers, more than 400 hotdogs, chips, and water.
