Hunter Education Courses Available at PVB

The courses to be held at the bank on July 23 and October 15, 2016, and can register online at the link below. Students must pre-register for the course. You can follow this link and then search for the course you would like to enroll in:

  • Students must be 11 years old at the time of the course.
  • Prior to attending the Skills Session, students must complete a self-study portion.  This can be done on-line or with a book.  The on-line course costs a fee.  The book if free at any MDC office or shooting range.  The student will bring either the completion certificate from the on-line course or the book with the review questions completed to the Skills Session as verification of completion of the self-study.
  • The Skills Session is 4 hours.  It is a hands-on course where firearms are handled and safe hunting practices are taught.  There is a 35-point multiple choice test at the end.  The test covers material the student learned during the self-study.
