The courses to be held at the bank on July 23 and October 15, 2016, and can register online at the link below. Students must pre-register for the course. You can follow this link and then search for the course you would like to enroll in:

- Students must be 11 years old at the time of the course.
- Prior to attending the Skills Session, students must complete a self-study portion. This can be done on-line or with a book. The on-line course costs a fee. The book if free at any MDC office or shooting range. The student will bring either the completion certificate from the on-line course or the book with the review questions completed to the Skills Session as verification of completion of the self-study.
- The Skills Session is 4 hours. It is a hands-on course where firearms are handled and safe hunting practices are taught. There is a 35-point multiple choice test at the end. The test covers material the student learned during the self-study.
