Helping Our Savior Christian Academy Donate to St. Jude's

On May 14^th and 15^th, Platte Valley Bank helped students at Our Savior Christian Academy, in Platte City, learn the value of spending and donating money. The Academy help a walk-a-thon on Thursday and a trike-A-thon on Friday. For the event, children brought in change from home to spend at replica businesses for trinkets and snacks. Platte Valley Bank provided backpacks, piggy banks, and a toy ATM where children could practice depositing money. At the end of the event, teachers collected the money from each station and donated every penny to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
