Bingo Night at the Platte County Fair

On July 24^th, Platte Valley Bank sponsored Senior Citizens' Bingo at The Platte County Fair in Platte City, MO.

As seniors arrived, we handed out bags with information, coupons, bingo cards, and bottled water. At 5pm, when the bingo games started, there were more than 250 seniors and three tables covered with prizes. For almost two hours, several rounds of bingo were called and everyone enjoyed playing amongst each other.

The Platte County Fair ran from Tuesday, July 22th to Saturday, July 26th. The fair has been an annual event in our community since the first fair in 1863. It is recorded as being the oldest continuously operating fair west of the Mississippi River. The fair draws participants and spectators from a 100-mile radius, and in some cases even further.
