2014 Senior Health Fair and Caregiver Expo

Today, September 18, Platte Valley Bank is at the YMCA in Platte City for the 2014 Senior Health Fair and Caregiver Expo. The event ran today from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. The theme this year was Platte County’s 175th anniversary celebration. There were 60 exhibitors, door prizes, drawing, free food, and more. Over two hundred people attended.

At the fair, attendees visited exhibitor booths and received information, flu shots, acupressure, medical consultation, and veteran information. They could also have their blood pressure, bone density, and lipids tested. This event is well attended every year.
