Platte Valley Bank Pays it Forward

On May 11, 2016, Platte Valley Bank kicked off a “Pay It Forward” summer campaign.  PVB hopes to make a difference in the local communities by giving back to their residents. Each week, members of Platte Valley Bank’s Marketing department go to local businesses and select random recipients to “Pay It Forward”. PVB has given out Visa gift cards in grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants. Seven lunches were paid for at a local Burger King in North Kansas City. Included with the Visa gift cards is an invitation to “Pay It Forward”. The invitation asks for the recipients to go on Facebook and share with Platte Valley Bank how they have paid it forward to someone else. Platte Valley Bank believes in being involved in the local communities and wants to start a chain reaction of kindness. Today Platte Valley Bank visited Plattsburg Municipal Pool and paid it forward to over 100 kids, parents, grandparents, and staff by passing out ice cream and PVB water bottles. Children from Imagination Station Learning Center Inc. and The Learning Tree Gower were among the kids who enjoyed the cold treats and cool new water bottles.
