Summer 2012 was "one for the books." With the past two years being pretty mild, it is very challenging for meteorologists, storm chasers climatologists and the people behind the scenes at the National Weather Service.

 

Join the Prime 50 Club and experience firsthand how the sophisticated computers track the slightest raindrop many miles away, and learn about the entire operation in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Afterward we'll enjoy shopping at Cockrell Mercantile and lunch at Kansas City's favorite tea room with time to browse oodles of oddities and antiques within.
