Heartbleed

Platte Valley Bank has reviewed the various systems that we utilize to ensure they are not affected by the Open SSL flaw commonly referred to as Heartbleed”.

Based upon our analysis and the analysis of our business partners, we have determined that our systems have not been affected.

As always, we encourage periodic password changes. We also encourage utilizing passwords of proper strength, e.g. passwords having a minimum of eight characters and the utilization of special characters, a mix of alpha numeric characters, and the use of both lower case and capital letters.
